I don't make a lot of fused glass jewelry, but periodically I add a few pieces to the kiln when I am firing my larger pieces (panels, plates, etc.). There are a few new techniques I learned recently and hope to expand on in the near future. They use a type of glass called dichroic. This glass is beautiful as it has a metallic coating that shifts as the piece moves so that you see various shades of colors. The pieces are fired several times with hand work in between to cut them and design them. I have some in the beginning stages, so I plan to have them on the site soon.
